Laurel Hill State Park Group Camp 1 provides simple cabins furnished with cots. Cabins may be shared or single occupancy if space is available. There is electricity in the cabins, but not much else. There is a modern (heated) restroom facility with shower facilities.
The dining hall has a commercial kitchen with refrigerators and freezers. We will bring pots and pans as they are not provided by the park.
Note: Cell phone reception can be very unreliable depending on your carrier.
Suggested things to bring:
- Sleeping bag or equivalent bedding*
- Sleeping pad*
- Pillows
- Your own toiletries including towels
- Umbrella/Rain-gear
- Hiking boots/Shoes
- Pack warm outer wear as it can get cold after dark
- Flashlight/Headlamp
- Camp chair for sitting by the fire-pit*
- Program literature
- Meals for Friday evening, Saturday breakfast and lunch.
*We have gear available to borrow. Just ask in advance!
